Tiny marine creatures swim among trailing plants and invented mark-making within this imagined underwater pattern. Inspired by memories of diving in the ocean, each brush stroke responds to the shape and surface of the bowl, creating a sweeping tidal effect of circular motion.

This hand-made bowl is shaped from pure white stoneware. It stands on three tiny feet allowing the curve of the bowl to float just above the table surface. The subtle unevenness of its edges lend to the playful spirit of cobalt markings and botanical forms inspired by the interconnected rhythms of nature.
