Inspired by the continual motion of marine life, the markings on this bowl interweave, float and interlock. Oceanic refers to the feeling of an all encompassing immersion; a concept that I have explored through the visual fullness of pattern making.

This hand-made bowl is shaped from pure white stoneware. It stands on three tiny feet allowing the curve of the bowl to float just above the table surface. The subtle unevenness of its edges lend to the playful spirit of cobalt markings and botanical forms inspired by the interconnected rhythms of nature.
